European Tranship Vehicles for Small Access
Your move will be carried out using our specialist large vehicles, your items are loaded straight onto the back of our vehicle the closer we get to your private property the better for our removal team.
It is very important that you let us know of your access for a large vehicle outside both of your properties.
We understand that in Europe access can be very tight in some rural & city dwellings, we have a tranship service available. Our Tranship vehicle will be used to tranship your items from the large vehicle to the small vehicle, then with access to your property, your items can be unloaded.
Part Load Removals Explained
We offer a part load service to and from all European destinations including islands, an ideal service for clients with smaller consignments or larger consignments with flexible delivery dates.
This service is often the most cost-effective method for moving to Europe as you share the space on our vehicle with other clients shipments. The running costs of the vehicle are then shared by all.
All shipments are individually inventoried and all goods individually numbered ensuring all personal effects are delivered to the correct client’s property. This is a full door to door service with unpacking if required.
Dedicated Vehicle to Europe
Our dedicated service provides you with the sole use of one of our vehicles and allows you to choose your collection and delivery dates, this is also a full to the door direct service with unpacking if required.
Delivery from the UK to Europe can be as quick as 2 days depending on collection point in the UK and delivery point in Europe.
The only restrictions on this service are public holidays in Europe where LGV vehicles are often restricted between certain hours and tachograph hours which limits drivers hours for safety. Our European department will provide you with a full relocation plan including expected transit times upon quotation.
Packing Services
- Fragiles – Edwards will professionally pack & wrap all your china, glass & mirrors
- Full Pack – We will pack everything from your house and garden, all your items will be professionally packed for transporting through Europe given you piece of mind that all your items are safe and secure.
- Export Wrapping – for overseas shipments we export wrap all items of furniture as standard. For European Removals Edwards can export items of furniture upon request, Most items of furniture are blanket wrapped on the vehicle, but if you have any precious/special items we can professionally wrap for transit for added peace of mind.
- Case Making Service – Edwards offer a case making service for or very high-value items like Fine Art, Antiques and Sculptures this ensures your items are very safe.
Extra Services Available
Edwards Removals also offer extra services when needed. Not everything is simple when moving house and some properties can cause problems when moving large items or you may have an item that is unusual or an item that requires specialist skills when it comes to moving.
Outside Elevators
Edwards Removals will supply an outside elevator for properties with small doorways, stairs or lifts where large items cannot get through. Our removal crew will be able to tranship your items through a larger window . It is always helpful to advise of any issues beforehand, we are aware that this can be overlooked and may cause delay when loading or unloading.
